no longer exists at addrepo https://repo.skype.com/rpm/stable/skype-stable.repo - the working method is:

zypper ar https://repo.skype.com/rpm/stable/ skype-stable
zypper in skypeforlinux

Is it also worth mentioning that Skype can be used without installation at https://web.skype.com/ ?
