Welcome to Linux user groups portal edit

A Linux User Group or Linux Users' Group (LUG) is a private, generally non-profit or not-for-profit organization that provides support and/or education for Linux users, particularly for inexperienced users.

The term commonly refers to local groups that meet in person, but is also used to refer to online support groups that may have members spread over a very wide area and which do not organize, or which are not based around, physical meetings.

How to add LUG to the list edit

The links to LUGs are located on the right, in the Navigation section.

To add you LUG to the list:

  • create LUG page and add content to it.
  • at the end of the page add [[Category:Linux_user_groups]]

When you save the page your LUG will be automatically added to the list.

We will soon add help that will make creating page one step run trough the template, but for now please use above procedure.
